Updating the Time on the SimplicityTouch

The SimplicityTouch panel's default setting for time is "Automatic."  This means that if the android OS is networked (wired or wirelessly connected) the time will automatically update upon powering up by using the time from the network's time server.

 

There are circumstances in which a user may need to set the time Manually. In order to perform these steps, you will need to have access to the panel's password. If you are not privy to the admin passwords, please ask your technical administrator for assistance.

 

Updating the time

  1. From the HomeScreen, select the SETTINGS icon.

     
  2. Enter the Password and select OK.

     
  3. Double tap DATE and TIME under Preferences. Select "Automatic date & time" and change from ON to OFF. You now have the option to manually set the DATE, TIME or both.

     
  4. Once you have completed the process, use the BACK button to return to the HomeScreen.
