It is suggested that school/districts change the default password from 0-0-0-0 to a 4 digit PIN of your choice.

The panel settings are password protected using a 4 digit PIN to deter end users from inadvertently tweaking panel configurations.  Panel settings not accessible without the password include:  Network Router, Panel Date/Time, Installed Applications, and TouchOut settings.

Other User Preference settings such as Picture Mode, Sound Mode, Sleep Mode do not require a password.

If you change the default password to a custom password, and you forget it, contact Recordex USA to request assistance to reset.
