Here is a brief video showing it in use: Click Here
There are two options for using a SimplicityCam with a Chromebook or Chromebox.
XPress for Chrome Extension (works with all ChromeOS machines): Click Here
XPress for ChromeOS App (You may or may not be able to download this one depending on the kind of Chromebook/Chromebox you have): Click Here
Using XPress with Camera
- Download and install either the XPress for Chrome Extension or XPress for ChromeOS Application.
For the Chrome Extension, click the XPress icon in the top right of the Chrome browser.
For the XPress for ChromeOS Application, click the XPress icon at the bottom of the screen.
Make sure you open the Chrome extension on an actual website. It will not work with chrome reserved pages (new tab, extensions, etc). You will get this error if not opened on an actual website.
- Click the camera icon in the annotation toolbar.
- With the camera tool highlighted, draw a box on the screen to display the document camera.
- Click the settings icon and make sure it says "RecordexUSA" or the model of the SimplicityCam in the camera field.
