This article is all about teaching you different ways of using the SimplicityCam (doc cam) with your computer and the SimplicityTouch (panel) within XPress.
Ways to use XPress
- Using the Simplicity with XPress on your computer.
- Connect the doc cam via USB to your computer.
- Connect your computer via VGA or HDMI (and the USB from panel to PC for touch).
- On the front panel buttons (or remote control), select the INPUT button (next to the power button).
- Tap on the VGA or HDMI option to which you connected for display purposes. Your computer image should now display on the panel.
- Launch XPress from your PC.
- Select the Camera tool, drag your finger/stylus on the page to insert a box and the image under your camera should be visible.
- If the image does not appear, use the menu below the object in which you expect the image to appear and select the camera of choice from the drop-down menu.
- Connect the doc cam via USB to your computer.
- Using the SimplicityCam with the SimplicityTouch XPress in stand-alone mode (using the HomeScreen of the panel and not projecting your computer).
- Attach the USB of the document camera into one of the two front USB ports of the panel.
- Launch XPress from the HomeScreen of the panel.
- Select the Camera tool, drag your finger/stylus on the page to insert a box and the image under your camera should be visible.
- If the image does not appear, use the menu below the object in which you expect the image to appear and select the camera of choice from the drop-down menu,
- Attach the USB of the document camera into one of the two front USB ports of the panel.
