SimplicityCam - using it with XPress software
This article is all about teaching you different ways of using the SimplicityCam (doc cam) with your computer and the SimplicityTouch (panel) within XPress.

Ways to use XPress

  • Using the Simplicity with XPress on your computer.

    1. Connect the doc cam via USB to your computer.

    2. Connect your computer via VGA or HDMI (and the USB from panel to PC for touch).

    3. On the front panel buttons (or remote control), select the INPUT button (next to the power button).

    4. Tap on the VGA or HDMI option to which you connected for display purposes. Your computer image should now display on the panel.

    5. Launch XPress from your PC.

    6. Select the Camera tool, drag your finger/stylus on the page to insert a box and the image under your camera should be visible.

    7. If the image does not appear, use the menu below the object in which you expect the image to appear and select the camera of choice from the drop-down menu.

  • Using the SimplicityCam with the SimplicityTouch XPress in stand-alone mode (using the HomeScreen of the panel and not projecting your computer).

    1. Attach the USB of the document camera into one of the two front USB ports of the panel.

    2. Launch XPress from the HomeScreen of the panel.

    3. Select the Camera tool, drag your finger/stylus on the page to insert a box and the image under your camera should be visible.

    4. If the image does not appear, use the menu below the object in which you expect the image to appear and select the camera of choice from the drop-down menu,
