DVD / Blu-Ray Player not outputting audio
print icon

There are rare cases where the HDMI audio will not output from the DVD Player to the SimplicityTouch.

If the cable has been tested with both video and audio working correctly, but audio is still not outputting from the player to the SimplcityTouch then some settings will need to be changed.

The settings will vary for most DVD Players.

Fixing no audio

  1. In order to fix this audio issue, access the setup settings for the DVD Player.

  2. Goto the Audio section, find "Digital Output"/"Dolby Digital".

  3. Set it to "PCM". The default option is usually Bitstream, ensure it is changed to PCM.
